Nicki Minaj And MAC Release Pink Friday Lipstick

Rumors had been circulating and finally confirmed that Nicki Minaj has partnered with MAC on special edition Pink Friday Lipsticks (I'm guessing it was named after her newly released debut album).

The $14 limited edition color will be available for the next four Fridays only via MAC. Pink Friday is a nude barbie pink color, which looks even more bright & daring then the Viva Glam Lady Gaga lipstick.

MAC did a good job with this collection in releasing so many wearable colors for any skintone and/or taste- so this would be a great choice of Christmas gift for any make-up addicts out there. I love every single item in this collection, specially the lipsticks, glosses and nail polishes.


I can't wait to see how the eyeshadows swatch.

I'm not so wow'ed by the shadows in the quads, maybe because I'm not digging the pink shadow, but the highlighters I like.

My Quick FOTD

Didn't have much time to get ready, but even when I do, lately, this is pretty much the make-up I use: foundation, concealer, pressed powder, liner and blush (alternating brands and colors of course). I like keeping it simple, because 1. it's quicker to get out the door if I'm late and 2. it's easier not to mess up.

Ha, this picture is kind of unflattering, but rest assured, I don't have a beard.. :/

Foundation: Revlon Colorstay in shade 310

Concealer (under eyes): Coastal Scents Camo Quad in Medium

Pressed powder by Maybelline

Eyeliner: Rimmel Eyeshadow in Jet Black applied wet

Brows: Estee Lauder liner in black and Anastasia Brow Wax pencil

Highlight: MAC Dream Maker eyeshadow

Blush: Korres Zea Mays in Orange applied lightly

Lips: Korres Mango Butter Lipstick in Coral

  

For the brow highlight I used MAC Dream Maker, then I noticed it's more of a gold frost (but still pretty- specially paired with this orange and gold blush!), so I think next time I'll be switching to MAC Shroom instead for daytime, and use this for evening looks.



MAC Holiday Collection 2010: A Tartan Tale

Here is a glimpse of the MAC Tartan Tale Holiday 2010 Collection. This collection launches in October. I'm always excited about gettng first looks at MAC's collections even though they went a bit crazy with the limited edition releases this year. I'm a bit on the fence about the packaging though. Then again the red and green plaid stripes are very fitting for Christmas season.
