Finally back home after a lengthy stay up north of the border, Ashley Tisdale partook in a day of shopping in Malibu, California on Saturday (October 9).

In quite high spirits, the "Aliens In the Attic" actress joined a gal pal as they pair perused the offerings at the local Planet Blue while chatting it up amongst one another.

Tweeting her excitement over being back home, Tizzie wrote, "I'm home!!!!! Yay I'm in LA! Gonna hang with my girl @baileysgirl!"

Meanwhile, you can catch Ashley and her co-stars in an all-new episode of "Hellcats" titled "Ragged Old Flag" when it airs on Wednesday (October 13) at 9/8c on The CW.

A synopsis via the show's website tells: "The girls' volleyball team challenges the Hellcats to a flag-football game. Lewis (Robbie Jones) coaches the Hellcats and Red (Jeff Hephner) is impressed by his plays. Marti (Aly Michalka) pretends to be sick so she can skip the game and attend a conference with Julian (Gale Harold). Alice (Heather Hemmens) wants to cheat to win but Savannah (Ashley Tisdale) refuses, putting the girls at odds once again. Sharon Leal and Matt Barr also star. The Gossip Girl star and The Pretty Reckless lead singer is the cover model for the October issue of Sugar, a British magazine for teen girls, and she poses under the headline, "Trashy? Wild? Or secretly a bit like you?" Thought-provoking, eh? But that cover line isn't as surprising as the actual image of Taylor, in which her face is totally stripped of the black, charcoal, dark eye makeup that has become her signature. How surprising to see Taylor so fresh-faced, don't you think? What a difference!

We're on HIGH ALERT for ballerina tutus this summer, and Katy Perry is proving to be quite the tulle collector. Her tutu love began earlier this summer, when she wore a white one on July 30 for her performance at the MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia. Then, just this morning, she wore a pink one for her performance on the Today show. But the best part? Katy not only knows how to rock a tutu ballerina-style, but she's sly enough to actually pair the look with BALLET flats, for a ballerina look from head to toe.

MTV just announced that Paramore is performing at the 2010 Video Music Awards! That means we'll get to see the band's stylish singer, Hayley Williams, decked out for a killer performance. For previous stage looks, she whipped out blue eye shadow, like when she stopped in Chicago last week on tour. Not only does the hue look awesome against her pale skin and bold hair color, she is also wearing it in a way that appears bright, without being overpowering. Kaleigha Martin showed off her Deni bomber jacket from Anthropologie, which is we picked for its details: double-breasted military-style buttons, puffy sleeves, and two front pockets (which are perfect for stashing your keys and cell phone). It also looks great with her outfit — a navy blue dress, brown belt, and matching brown boots. This girl is ready for fall.

Michigan-based blogger Andrea Kerbuski picked up one of the biggest trends for fall: Army green. Her cropped three-quarter length jacket by Ecote is a great neutral element for any type of outfit, which is why it pairs perfectly with her accessories, from the cream bag to the leopard scarf to the aviator shades to the Jeffrey Campbell boots. Caylee Willett gave us a great idea for incorporating bleached denim into our cool-weather wardrobes. The Forever 21 jacket looks great with a black-and-white tribal mini from H&M and tons of jewelry — bracelets, rings, and even a silver ear cuff! The jacket sets the tone for the whole eighties-inspired outfit, which has a downtown vibe we totally want to steal.

August Beauty Favorites!

For the past 2 months I've been trying to wear as little make-up as possible. Now that definitly means something else to every person.
I haven't been using too many new products, but instead I've found new ways to use products I already own/was using. These are all surprisingly super budget friendly too.:)

1) Tinted moisturizer: I haven't managed to find a tinted moisturizer that gives coverage. Most just go on sheer or make me look way darker. So I make the perfect combination (to my liking) by blending my holy grail moisturizer Proactive Oil-Free with SPF 15 and Revlon Colorstay Foundation. It gives the perfect light coverage to even out my skin tone, plus stays put all day (thanks to the Colorstay Foundation which is known for that).

2) Rimmel Eyeshadow in Jet Black ($4): I've actually been using this (wet) as a liner on my top lashline and it's sooo pigmented. The only thing is this method isn't as longlasting as liquid liner.

3) Coastal Scents concealer Camo quads (in Medium) ($7). (My full review of it here).



4) Sonia Kashuk angled blush brush: I got this for about $12 at Target. I love this because it has a smaller brush head compared to regular blush brushes, and allows for more precise placement/blush contouring.

5) Korres Lip Butter in Mango ($10) (My full review here).

6) Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Eliminating Spot Gel ($8): I've been breaking out like crazy the past week. So of course I turn to my trusty on the spot gel. This one also gets a big thumbs up from me. It's slightly more affective then the regular Neutrogena On The Spot creams/gels. Plus it helps fade acne marks.

7) Tutti Dolci Crème Brulee Body Wash ($7): I got this on sale at Bath and Body Works and my ggggod does this smell devine! I was never a huge fan of spending money on bath products (I'm just more of a soap bar girl... or should I say I WAS). This is so rich and moisturizing, it feels like satin on the skin and leaves it smooth, which makes it great for shaving too. And true to it's name it does smell like Tutti Fruity Candy or gelato. Needless to say this is my favorite bath product at the moment and if I ever come across it again I'm buying 2 backups. Yummm..

It's rare that we ever see Taylor Momsen out of her garter belts and lingerie nighties, so when she changes it up, we notice. Like when she attended a photo shoot earlier this month and popped on this black and white top with split sleeves. The top that the 17-year-old wore is actually by Division E and it is available for $64 on ShoppeTrozillia.com. It's a great throw-on piece. And for The Pretty Reckless singer, that could be helpful, just in case she got cold wearing something like this.

Britney Spears landed on a fashion magazine cover this month! She's the cover model for the British fashion magazine POP's September issue, and the photos of her JUST DROPPED. Artist Takashi Murakami art directed the cover, which was shot by Todd Cole, and what has us thinking "whhaaa?" is her wardrobe on one of the two covers: A WEDDING DRESS! To top it off, she's also wearing a stone-encrusted veil. Could she be trying to convey an anime bride look? Possibly! For the second cover, the wedding veil remains, but the singer wore a navy blue leotard and strapped on a hot pink backpack, perhaps a throwback to her "Baby One More Time" days. Overall, we love the dark-rimmed lids and pink lips. But the wedding theme still threw us for a loop.

Which of these 14 girls will be America's Next Top Model?

Tyra Banks kicks off Cycle 15 (yes, we're up to THAT MANY!) of her hit show America's Next Top Model on September 8, and this time around, she's going HIGH fashion. The supermodel-turned-TV host wrangled a number of fashion superstars such as designer Diane Von Furstenberg, model Karolina Kurkova, and photographer Patrick Demarchelier (yes, the Patrick from The Devil Wears Prada!) to serve as guest judges this year. Plus, this season's winner will get a spread in VOGUE!!! Well, Italian Vogue, that is, and that's on top of her contracts with IMG Models and Cover Girl. With that said, let's meet the 14 girls up for the prize.

Nicky Hilton Modeled At The Charlie Brown Fashion Show In Australia

Earlier this month, there was a little online buzz about designer Charlie Brown booking socialite Nicky Hilton to walk in the label's runway for Australian Fashion Week, which is happening in Sydney right now. Well, today, on other-side-of-the-world time, she walked in the show, which was billed as one of the most popular of the week, as in years past models Linda Evangelista, Lily Cole, Jade Jagger, Jerry Hall, and Sophie Dahl walked in Brown's show. Hilton, 26, modeled three looks in total, and here they are!

The shiny cream dress with sheer sleeves was the least offensive and most red-carpet ready, though she probably didn't need the belt around the waist. Then, she went for a leopard-print off-the-shoulder dress with matching headscarf. It looks too senior citizen baking in Boca Raton, Florida for us, which is weird because we typically LOVE leopard. Her final strut down the runway involved an aqua blue dress with a floral blue headband, which looks like a bridesmaid dress that you'd fight against, but then finally give in just to please the bride. Though, the color is quite pretty on her.

Miss Universe : Miss Mexico, Jimena Navarrete

Meet the new Miss Universe, Miss Mexico, Jimena Navarrete! The 22-year-old beat out 82 other hopefuls for the title of Miss Universe, and she was crowned tonight in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Mandalay Bay Casino. Her evening gown was gorgeous and not too over-the-top pageant girl — a simple, one-shoulder, elegant red ballgown with a thigh-high slit. She looked beautiful.!

Here are the rest of the ladies who made the top five:

1st runner-up: Miss Jamaica, Yendi Phillipps, 24


Her satin aqua gown wasn't the most fashion-forward, but when we think of pageant dresses, this is what comes to mind.

2nd runner-up: Miss Australia, Jesinta Campbell, 19


Campbell went for a gold V-neck gown with embroidered silver and gold strands all over it. VERY pageant-girl!

3rd runner-up: Miss Urkraine, Anna Poslavska, 23


Ukraine's dress was the most, shall we say, revealing? However, she looked like she could've been walking on a fashion runway, so it was one of our favorites, just for glamour's sake.

4th runner-up: Miss Philippines, Venus Raj, 22


This metallic dress really shined, and shiny things are always great! However, we wish she would've lost the extra material on her right shoulder because it clashed with the sash and distracted you from seeing the rest of the dress.

Miss USA, 24-year-old Rima Fakih, did not advance past the first round. At least she looked radiant in red.
