Here are my top 10 favorites from the Alexander McQueen's Spring 2011 Collection:
An art piece in a form of a dress. This is such an incredible design. The ruffles, print and cut is amazing.
I have never seen so many feathers in one dress- and done extraordinarily well.
Can I have this belt please? Oh and the shoes! Such a beautiful outfit. The print and flow of the dress is gorgeous.
A dark, mysterious yet feminine dress. I love the lace and the cutout details at the top of the arms.
These shoes are simply amazing. The model looks like she is standing on a piece of coral with butterfly's flying around. I love the sea so naturally I am going to adore this shoe!
A military inspired shoe (I think it looks military like). I love how the heel is very skinny at the top and then gets thicker as it goes down. This is such a fierce shoe, and whoever wears it will definitely get compliments.
What a sexy dress! I couldn't imagine wearing this as I am a little self conscience. The flower detailing is extraordinary and well designed.
Another feather dress that is well done without looking like a bird.
Great view of the show!
Sarah Burton did such an amazing job continuing the line of Alexander McQueen after he died earlier this February. She worked alongside him for 15 years and it clearly shows. The gowns are to die for and are so extraordinarily beautiful. From his past collections, I can't believe how creative a man could be but he will definitely be missed as one of the most extraordinary designers.
